Chilly Gonzales, Mstislav Rostropovich, Blue Note jazz label, Depeche Mode, electro pop, country music, jazz, fado, poetry, music from India and Madagascar, free and sexual dance of Jamaican women – Doclisboa will be full of music and dancing. We will pay tribute to the Berlin Volksbühne and to the Paris Opera. We will screen William Friedkin’s first documentary and meet him in the intimacy of his house. Amazing stories from Chile, Mexico, Croatia and Russia will be revealed. Two punk ladies will shine on the screen: Joan Jett and Vivienne Westwood. In order to remember the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, we will screen the legendary musical, The Blues Brothers.
