A year after the fire at Pedrogão Grande, the skin regenerates, houses are rebuilt and routines are resumed. In the last eight months, we followed the community’s daily life after the fire up-close: Zeca and Vítor, who were seriously injured; Neil and Catherine, and their neighbours, Isilda and Aires, two couples who saw their houses burning; and painter João ‘Viola’, who conveyed his anger in a painting, and used art to express his pain and help the community.
