This film about the 10th World Festival of Youth and Students in East Berlin in the summer of 1973 has no commentary and comes alive only through the original audio of the students in discussion, the musical contributions, and the speeches and presentations. The parties, ceremonies, solidarity gatherings, and the march of the national and international youth associations are shown. Special attention is given to the American civil rights activist Angela Davis.
