Koepp not only investigates how young women in an agricultural region become workers at a knitting factory, but also how industry changes their lives and thoughts. It features three funny and sensitive young women – Renate, Edith und Stupsi – in a small town close to Berlin, who relate their personal dreams and their troubles at work.
