Doclisboa wants to question the present of film, bringing along its history and assuming cinema as a mode of freedom. By refusing the categorization of film practice, it searches for the new problematics that cinematic image implies, in its multiple ways of engagement with the contemporary. Doclisboa tries to be a place to imagine reality through new modes of perception, reflection, and possible new forms of action.

Pitch the Doc. Another Way of Pitching

Pitch the Doc is an online based platform that allows you to present documentary projects online to decision makers from all market sectors as closely as possible to how you would with in-person pitches. At the same time the platform offers a wide range of documentary projects from all around the world and enables contact with the authors, meaning there is a direct and secure connection anytime, anywhere.

Adam Papliński is the founder of Pitch the Doc platform, coordinator and tutor at the international documentary training and pitching programme Dragon Forum, and head of educational projects in Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus in the frame of the Academy of Documentary Arts.

 

The talk will be held in English with no translation.
