Videomappings: Aida, Palestine
Till Roeskens
France, Palestina, 2009, 46’
On screen, one blank sheet of paper after another is slowly being filled with lines: a house, a soldier, a flag, a tank and an insurmountable wall. They’re the inhabitants of Aida, Bethlehem, who draw mental maps of where they live. Step by step, from drawing to drawing, we learn about the refugee camp and a way of life.
