In more than 40 years of activity, Leth directed 45 documentaries, experimental shorts and fictional features, including conceptual short films, anthropological film essays,sports docs, fi lm portraits, travel film-dairies and even detective fiction. Leth discusses the cultural background of his formative years, his work as a poet and a sports journalist, his decision to leave Denmark to live in Haiti and his collaboration with Lars von Trier on The Five Obstructions (2003). |
