| What is Algeria nowadays? The small village of Ghassira, a place that was known in 1954 as the “Cradle of the Algerian Revolution”. 50 years later Malek Bensmaïl spent a year in Ghassira observing its inhabitants and the local school. Today, pupils learn about the past and present of their country. The future seems even more uncertain. |
