The films selected and awarded at the Festival Documenta Madrid 2012 were presented at the latest edition of doclisboa - International Film Festival.
"The Way You Are" received the prize for best first film at the national competition and "It's the Earth Not the Moon" received the City of Lisbon award for best mid or feature-length film.

Open calls to film submissions for the X edition of doclisboa - International Film Festival until June 15th 2012.

Doclisboa proposes a rethinking of the documentary across its respective implications and potentials: cinema thereby representing a practice enabling us to discover new ways and means of conceiving and acting the world. The intimate interrelationship between the artistic and the political is correspondingly assumed as a mode of freedom. We wish to display films eventually able to help understand the world we live in and revealing some of the possible sources of change. With around 150 films and a rigorously and carefully defined program, the 10th edition of Doclisboa strives to ensure a public place for meeting, reflection and debate.

"Cold Water" which was selected for the international competition of the Documenta Madrid - International Documentary Festival of Madrid was also in the International Competition of Festival Regard sur le Court-Metrage, Quebec, Canada.

"Cold Water", by Pedro Neves and "Praxis", by Bruno Cabral, will be in the short film international competition of the Festival Documenta Madrid 2012.
"It's the Earth Not the Moon" by Gonçalo Tocha and "The Way You Are" by Pedro Filipe Marques will be programmed for the feature-length films international competition.

The Documenta Madrid will take place between the 4 and the 13 of May.
