United We Stand, Divided We Fall Retrospective
In the late 60s, conditions for Puerto Ricans in the US were terrible. This film, conceived as a direct action, focuses on the community of East Harlem, capturing the compassion and militancy of the Young Lords as they implemented their own health, educational and public assistance programs to fight back against social injustice.
