The first film made by the workers of Group Medvedkine is a portrait of a precise historical moment - the creation of a labour union group in a factory - and an intimate portrait of a militant woman. And it's a film essay about the birth of a political conscience among the workers, despite the uncooperative union leaders and management intimidations.
