For five weeks, Akerman followed the work of choreographer Pina Bausch, capturing the most significant moments, and filming the dancers bodies in close-up. Always avoiding the informative documentary style, she strives to render through her interpretation the passionate and political violence embodied in Pina Bausch's choreographies.
