The Revolution will not be televised, it will be twitted
Cinema of Urgency
Both Turkey and Brazil have seen the beginning of unexpected social movements. If, on the one case, the anticipated destruction of Gezi Park led the people to fight the ruling oppressors, on the other the trigger was the increase of the price of bus tickets that fostered the questioning and re-thinking of the political and economical path this country is taking - a country that astonishes us for its amazing growth and yet the people have a hard time improving their lives. Those who capture these movements question not only the governments but also the media co-operation that is so ineffective in its fight for impartiality. These new ways of spreading the news give voice to all those who are fighting on the streets for a new future for their country.
