Filmed in the liberated areas of Guinea-Bissau during its war of independence from Portugal, Madina Boé follows the activities of the People's Army for the Independence of Guinea-Bissau/Cape Verde. It documents the fighters' political education, guerrilla techniques, and physical training. It also contains a rare interview with Amílcar Cabral.
