Wanzerbé, a Sohantyé magicians' village, lies in heart of the Songhay region, in Niger. They prepare magic potions and read the future in the sand and in the shells. Life goes on according to the women's chores and the children's games. In the weekly market, there is bartering for salt bars from the Tuareg, pottery, food and herds of cattle.
