A former colonial war Portuguese soldier describes the photographs of the album he made in Mozambique from 1971 to 74. The narrator transmits to his daughter, the director, the experience of "very concrete facts". Weapons catalogue, zoological inventory, self-portrait and ethnographic investigation, the film is a testimony to war's absurd banality.
