Program

The film deals with representation codes of the former Portuguese colonial law over Guinea-Bissau and with the clash of different rules, views and means of producing memory. A photo album depicts the perspective of the colonist, who took pictures of landscapes, people, and architecture in the 40s and 50s with a documentarywise amazement and rigour.
