In April 2006, Pilz and his friend Nikolaus Scholz flew to Sana'a, the capital of the Republic of Yemen, and traveled to Shibam, the legendary and ancient “Manhattan of the Desert”. This travel journal is composed by personal thoughts on the music, the faces and the landscape of the Hadramout Valley, one of the oldest cultures of this world.
