Ivens’ last work, written and filmed in partnership with Marceline Loridan, is a vision of his own life and of the changes in the world. After “The Mistral,” this is his second attempt to film the invisible wind. The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival, where Joris received the Golden Lion for his complete oeuvre.
