In the stalls: applauses, cheers, unthinkable hisses, a broken guitar. On stage: the young Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Os Mutantes, Roberto Carlos, Edu Lobo, and Sérgio Ricardo. The music: “Roda Viva”, “Ponteio”, “Alegria, Alegria”, “Domingo no Parque”... Only one of them would be the winner. That is “Uma Noite em 67”: an invitation to live the Festival da Record’s final night, that changed forever the destiny of Brazilian Popular Music.
