Miguel and Ruben are descendants of Cape Verdean immigrants. They were born in Portugal but have no nationality. They are youngsters divided between the will to obtain the Portuguese legal documents and the obstacles of their daily life. The future is an unknown territory of dreams and uncertainty, for which they fight everyday.
