A film reflecting about the history of forced migration, the slaves in Suriname and a challenging deconstruction of the conventions of ethnographic film. Thirteen ten minute shots which follow two brothers from the outskirts of Paramaribo, through pathways, forests, gold mines and rivers until a Maroon village.
