A kaleidoscopic and dramatic documentary with a mix of video, 16 mm and 35 mm footage, shot by Leth over a period of ten years. “I feel hypnotized by life in Haiti. By the mysteries, horrors, sensuality, and surreal scenes. Haiti is a strange mixture of tragedy and comedy,” wrote Leth who was well acquainted with the chaos, the Voodoo ceremonies, the violence and death in the streets, and the splendour of sensuality.
