As in the famous “Heart of Darkness” by Joseph Conrad (1902), Congo is still an enormous territory where the rest of the world projects certain ideas. With this film, four young Congolese directors react to these projections with a vision of their country. The film begins in a maternity and ends in the sombre mining towns to which Congo owes its wealth.
