In Rio de Janeiro two Portuguese brothers ventured into the most feared “favela” (slum) of Brazil, Complexo do Alemão, where 300 thousand people live. This place was, for a long time, the largest weapons and drugs depot of the city. "Complexo – Universo Paralelo" portrays daily life in this contradictory and dangerous world. The heads of the largest criminal faction of Rio speak intimately and plainly of the life in the world of trafficking.
