Near the most famous copper mine of Cuba, a sanctuary was raised to the Charity Madonna, the Cuba patron saint. When the mine was closed, the cult became a source of survival for the town, creating a new type of craftsmen, who, in order to obtain the ore to manufacture the souvenirs, enter the abandoned mine wells, risking their own lives.
