The starting point for this film is Manuel Botelho’s lecture delivered at the international congress on tomb sculpture that took place on November 2017, in Lisbon, at the National Museum of Ancient Art. By placing into dialogue text and images, the author addresses a recent project of his, turning sculptural works from a distant past into the motto for a reflexion on some of the perplexities of contemporary living.
