História Secreta da Aviação is a seminal reflexion on what rises and is cut down. It is based on the text by the same name by Manuel Zimbro, in which one dwells on what stops man from flying and on the impact of that limitation on nature. The film convenes images of the devastation caused by the fires of 2017, the year that holds the record for the greatest amount of destroyed forest area in Portugal, showing how in-between each leap, we have stopped over on the ground.
