It is with great sadness that the Doclisboa team today received news of the death of Axel Salvatori-Sinz.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Winner of the Doclisboa 2013 Investigation Prize for “Les Chebabs de Yarmouk”, Axel Salvatori-Sinz shared Doclisboa 2017 with us, presenting the world premiere of his film “Chjami \u00e8 Rispondi” in the International Competition – a film that deals with the relationship between a father and son at the moment in which the young filmmaker became a father himself for the first time. Axel Salvatori-Sinz was a cheerful presence, full of life and love, and a very courageous and independent young director, with much respect for the ways cinema can be a space of sharing and freedom.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
