Manon de Boer is an artist living in Brussels. She explores the relationship between language, time, and truth, claims to produce a series of portrait films in which the film medium itself is continuously interrogated. Her work has been exhibited internationally, among others at the Venice Biennial (2007), Sao Paulo Biennial (2010), dOCUMENTA(2012), the Museum of Art Philadelphia (2012) and Secession in Vienna (2016). Her films have also been included in numerous film festivals like the FID Marseille, IFFR Rotterdam, Docslisboa and Viennale.
