Kathrin Kohlstedde is head of program for Filmfest Hamburg. In “search of the right formulations for the questions of this world”, she studied philosophy and political science at the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. While she was working for a late night show, Kohlstedde subsequently explored the placement of entertainment content in television. Since 1999, she contributes with her love of and passion for film, its contents, and for the audience to the Film Festival Hamburg. She served on juries at such festivals as Forum Berlinale (independent jury), Olhar de Cinema Brazil, RVCQ Montréal, Crossing Europe Linz.
