Filmmaking Lab


The Filmmaking Lab asserts itself once again as a privileged place of meeting and discussion on filmmaking. The director invited challenges other colleagues to share experiences, working methods and questions, in an informal space suited for critical reflection. This year’s programme is curated by Luísa Homem and consists of four sessions, each with one director. The programme will be announced shortly.

Luísa Homem works in film since 2000 as director and editor. She studied Communication Sciences and Film (FCSH-UNL, Paris 8, Ateliers Varan). She is co-founder of the production company Terratreme and co-director of the Film / Moving Image course at Ar.Co. She recently directed Trading Cities (with Pedro Pinho) and São Tomé: no Trilho dos Naturalistas (with Tiago Hespanha).

There will be a selection process: the form includes a biograhical note and a note of intent
