Cristina Guerra has benn working with contemporary art for the last 3 decades. She was the director of several contemporary art galleries in Lisbon; worked with Dulce d’Agro ( director of Quadrum Gallery), who played a crucial role on her formation. She developed independent projects in cooperation with several city councils, amongst them the Capela da Gandarinha ( that became Centro Cultural de Cascais). On May 2001 she founded Cristina Guerra Contemporary Art , focusing on Conceptual Art and the most recent tendecies of Contemporary Art. She’s a regular presence at the most important art fairs, such as: Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach and ARCOmadrid. She was a member of the selection committee at ARCOmadrid and a consultant fot the committee of Art Basel Miami Beach. She’s a regular art consultant for several private and public collections.
