The experience of Afsan, a young intelectual, in the tumultuous years following 1971 in Bangladesh, in contrast to the so-called German Autumn (associated with the Baader-Meinhof Group). An essay on the transnational circulation of ideologies, reflecting on the dissolution of the extreme left movements which then constituted specific activisms in different countries.
