New Visions (Dedicated to the memory of Chris Marker, Marcel Hanoun and Stephen Dwoskin)
Reconversion portraits 17 buildings and projects by Oporto's architect Eduardo Souto Moura, with the help of his own written works. Souto Moura has the last word: "If there is nothing there, I will invent a pre-existence". The film combines the roughness of proto-cinema with the hyperrealism of digital cinema, thus leading us back to Dziga Vertov's ideals.
