A long and non-stop slow panning shot repeatedly describes the space of a room. In bed, Chantal Akerman sits motionless; when the camera passes her again, she is eating an apple. It is both a mysterious self-portrait of the filmmaker in her favourite place and the equivalent, for her film making, of a still life.
