La Goumbé des Jeunes Noceurs is a young people's association in Upper Volta (now Burkina Faso), immigrants in Abidjan, who meet every week at a dance arena in Treichville. At the beginning, the dancers dance to the beat of the Goumbe drums; sometimes the roles are reversed and the dancer leads the orchestra.
