The film approaches the terrible experience of civil war in Sierra Leone (1991-2002), registering the testimony of several victims, the greater part of whom refuse today the spirit of revenge: “God no say so”. The country’s history of blood and suffering is evocated, showing simultaneously the reconstruction of a shattered landscape. Among the characters, a prostitute talks about her dreams for the future; in a school, children dance.
