He has produced over 200
internationally distributed films, including more than 70
Portuguese titles. In Portugal, he is a producer (Madragoa
Filmes), exhibitor (Medeia/Millenium) and distributor (Atalanta
Filmes). In Paris, he is a producer and exhibitor (Gemini
Films) and an international agent, responsible for significantly
increasing the international visibility of Portuguese cinema
in the last two decades.

Carmen Cobos [NL/ES]
She began her career in the United Kingdom
as a researcher and production coordinator for BBB Education.
In 1996, she joined Ryninks Films (Holland). As a co-producer,
she has been responsible for such productions as the award-winning
film Lágrimas Negras. Since 2001, she has been the director
of Cobos Films. Her most recent production The Last Victory
made its debut in cinemas in the United Kingdom in June 2004.

| Luciano Barisone
[IT]
Journalist, critic ("Filmcritica",
"Cineforum", "Duel") and film society
member, in 1990, he founded the magazine "Panoramiche",
which he is also directs. Since 1997, he has worked with various
international film festivals, amongst them Locarno and Venice.
In 2002 he became the director of the Alba Infinity Festival.

| Marie-Pierre Duhamel
Müller [FR]
Graduated in History, Chinese and Cinema.
In the 80’s, she coordinated the distribution of documentaries
in video libraries in France and worked for the CNC. She also
worked in ARTE’s documentary department. She is a script
writer, documentary film director, teacher in various European
universities, programmer and selector for international film
festivals (Venice, Turin, Lussas, etc). She is currently the
artistic director for the Réel Film Festival (Paris). |

| Margarida Cardoso
[PT]
Portuguese director. She began working
in the area of cinema as script and director’s assistant.
In 1996 she directed her first short. Her films, documentaries
and fiction have won various awards. Christmas 71 (2000) and
Kuxa-Kanema (2003) are some of the portuguese documentaries
with important international broadcasting. She presented this
year her first feature film The Murmuring Coast at Venice
Film Festival. |

Margarita Ledo Andión is also director of the Audiovisual
Observatory
of the Communications Sciences Faculty, fiction writer, journalist,
researcher and director of the feature-length documentary
Santa Liberdade. |

| Lisa Hagstrand
[SE]
Swedish Director of Photography living
in Portugal for the last years. She has worked in more than
fifty films. She has also produced and directed short-length
films and documentaries and teaches cinema and photography.

Pinto [PT]
Radio and Television leading journalist.
She is the author of in-depth reports that have won acclaim
both in Portugal and abroad. She received the AMI prize for
her report Mulheres de Bagdad (Women in Bagdad). Her Meninos
de Angola (Children of Angola) was short listed for the ECHO
(European Community Humanitarian Office) award and she has
won several Portuguese prizes, as well as the FIGRA award
for human rights, in France. |

Graduate in Sociology and the Company
from the Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho
(ISCTE), he also has a doctorate in Political Sociology from
ISCTE.
He is in charge of the programme for contemporary art at Culturgest,
in Lisbon (The exhibition programme under his responsibility
begins in 2006). |
